In 2020, all meetings take place on the third Sunday of the month, except for January and June, which will be held on the fourth Sunday of the month.
Note from Sisters in Crime National regarding 2021 meetings:
This is a further update on the Sisters in Crime response to the threat of COVID-19.
As a community based in gathering to share stories, Sisters in Crime takes very seriously the threat of the COVID-19 virus to our members and readers. To continue our effort to help flatten the curve of coronavirus outbreak in the United States and Canada, we are continuing and expanding the following measures:
A full suspension of all in-person events originating from Sisters in Crime, Inc., until 2021.
In accordance with this update from SinC National, Houston Sisters in Crime will also be suspending all in-person events until 2021. Therefore, all our events will be conducted online until which time it is safe to have in-person events again.
*Until further notice, meetings begin at 2 p.m. and will held online.*
Note: When in-person meetings resume, they will be held at Murder by the Book and will be free and open to the public. All writers, no matter their genre or gender, will be welcome to attend. To participate in an online meeting/event, you must be a paid Houston SinC member.
Not a member? Contact us at email@example.com if you would like to be added to our guest email list for information and invitations to our free, monthly online speaker presentations. This is a limited opportunity, after which paid membership to Houston SinC (as well as national membership) is required to receive emails for our online meetings and events.
